We are delighted to announce the winners of our 2021 Art Competition.

We received so many wonderful pictures and want to thank everyone who took
part; they clearly thought deeply about the theme and put a lot of hard
work into the entries.

Do you have a budding artist in the family? 

Our Children’s Art Competition encourages entrants to illustrate a Clever Climate Action for their chance to win tickets to Tayto Park.

Competition theme : Illustrating Clever Climate Actions

The climate emergency is the defining issue of our time. Help us to show how we can all make a difference by sharing your vision of Clever Climate Actions.  If you want some ideas for where to saving energy, have a look at our list of Clever Climate Actions

There are no restrictions on the type of artwork, it can be anything from sketching to painting, from sculpture to print-making.    

The winning artworks will be exhibited on the Optimising Power @ Work website and social media platforms. They will also be considered for use as posters and graphics in our future correspondences.

Categories

There are three categories for submissions:   

  • Under 8s  
  • 8-11 
  • 12-17    

Deadline for submission is 11:59pm, Friday 5th November 2021  

How to enter

Email a photograph of your completed artwork to energyportal@opw-energy.ie with the heading ‘Children’s Art Competition”. 

Please include:

  • Your name, the name of the building you work in and your contact email address
  • The name and age of the child entrant on the day they completed their work
  • A title and slogan for the artwork

You may submit more than one piece of artwork for consideration.

Terms and Conditions

This competition is open to all family and friends of staff working in a building or campus participating in the Optimising Power @ Work campaign.

The judges shall assess the entries and one winner from each age category (under 8, 8-11, 12-17) will be selected. The judges’ decisions shall be final. No correspondence regarding the results will be entered into.   

By submitting an entry, you agree OPW may use the material for any purpose and in any way it chooses, including, but not limited to, marketing, publicity, advertising and presentations.
